Football Team Set To Start Spring Practice
WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross football team is scheduled to hold its first spring practice session of 2011 on Saturday, March 19, at 8:00 a.m. The Crusaders are coming off a 2010 season in which they posted an overall record of 6-5 and finished second in the Patriot League with a 3-2 mark in conference games.
Holy Cross returns 12 starters off last year's squad. Among the returnees are four players who earned first team All-Patriot League honors in 2010: senior cornerback Chandler Fenner (Virginia Beach, Va.), senior offensive tackle Mike McCabe (Watertown, Conn.), senior linebacker Ricky Otis (Cleves, Ohio) and senior tight end Alex Schneider (Inver Grove Heights, Minn.).
