HIGH SCHOOL:
• Played for head coach Brian Cross at Olentangy Orange High School.
• Served as team captain during his junior and senior seasons.
• A two-time first team All-Ohio Capital Conference and first team All-District selection.
• Named first team All-County in 2009.
• Caught 32 passes for 579 yards and four touchdowns as a senior.
• Totaled 44 catches for 936 yards and nine touchdowns over the course of his high school career.
• Broke the school single-season and career records for both receptions and receiving yards.
• Helped lead team to the 2009 Ohio Capital Conference title.
• Also a member of the lacrosse and track teams.
• Named first team All-Ohio and Academic All-Ohio in track.
• Member of the 4x100-meter relay team which finishing fourth in the state, and won the regional and district titles in 2010.

• Son of Michael and Diane Smith.
• Father played football at Kenyon College.
• Brother, Grant, is a member of the football team at Malone University.
• Has not yet declared a major.
