HIGH SCHOOL:
• Played for head coach Robert Weiner at H.B. Plant High School.
• Served as team captain during his senior season.
• Earned first team All-State honors as a senior, after being a third team selection as a junior.
• Twice named All-Sun Coast, while being a three-time All-Western Conference and All-County selection.
• Helped lead the team to state championships in 2006, 2008 and 2009.
• Named the Defensive Most Valuable Player of the 2009 state championship game.
• Totaled 403 tackles, 165 tackles for loss and 30 sacks over the course of his high school career.
• Set school records for career tackles and career tackles for loss.
• Member of National Honor Society.
