HIGH SCHOOL:
• Played for head coach Kirk Kennedy at Lowell Senior High School.
• Served as team captain during his senior season.
• Earned first team All-State honors from the Associated Press and the Indiana Football Coaches Association.
• Selected first team All-Northwest Crossroads Conference and first team All-Area.
• Led team to three straight conference, sectional and regional championships.
• Team posted an overall record of 39-5 during his three years on the varsity.
• Totaled 136 tackles and 17 sacks over the course of his high school career, while catching 24 passes for 344 yards and three touchdowns as a tight end.
• Also lettered in basketball, serving as team captain during his senior year.
• Earned second team All-Conference honors in basketball.
