Football Moves Up Two Spots In Both National Polls

WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross football team is ranked No. 19 in the nation in this week's Sports Network poll for the football championship subdivision. The Crusaders' moved up two spots in the rankings, following Saturday's 42-21 victory at Northeastern. Holy Cross also moved up two positions in the FCS coaches' poll, where it is now ranked at No. 20.

In the Sports Network poll, Holy Cross received 939 total points, to earn the 19th spot. In the coaches' poll, the Crusaders placed 20th with 173 total points. The only other ranked team from the Patriot League in either poll was Colgate, which was ranked 23rd by the Sports Network with 626 points, and 24th by the coaches with 92 points.

The Crusaders (4-0 overall, 1-0 Patriot League) return to action on Saturday, Oct. 10, with a 12:30 p.m. game at Brown.
