Sept. 25, 2008
WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross men's and women's basketball season tickets for the 2008-2009 campaign are now on sale.
The men's and women's basketball teams open their home schedules on the weekend of November 14. The men open against Sacred Heart that night at 7:00 p.m., while the women open the following afternoon against Yale at 1:00 p.m. Both these games are part of the "Black Out the Hart" promotion, in which fans are encouraged to wear black shirts to the game. A special edition black Sader Nation shirt will be sold at both games ($5 for students, $10 for adults).
The men's game against St. Joseph's on November 16 (4:00 p.m.) will feature a halftime ceremony raising the jerseys of George Kaftan, Bob Cousy, Togo Palazzi and Tom Heinsohn to the Hart Center rafters. The game will sell out quickly, so fans are encouraged to purchase their season tickets to get the best seats in the house.
The remainder of the men's non-league home schedule will feature Western Michigan, San Francisco, Siena and Fairfield. The women's slate of non-league home games features the November 18 clash with Boston College, as well as visits from Yale, Harvard, St. Peter's, Maine and Bryant.
Follow the links above to the season ticket applications for men's and women's basketball. Fans can once again purchase season tickets in three ways: a men's-only ticket, a women's-only ticket, or a Crusader Combo, which includes every home game for both teams at a further discounted price.
