Men's Basketball Holds First Annual Golf Tournament

WORCESTER, Mass. - The College of the Holy Cross men's basketball team held its first annual golf outing on Tuesday, May 20. The event took place at the Cyprian Keyes Golf Club in Boylston, Mass., with a shotgun start beginning at 9:00 a.m. Fifty-six golfers took to the links for the event, followed by a luncheon with prizes.

Among the guests at the golf outing were Holy Cross Varsity Club Hall of Famers Bill Doran, Bob Fouracre, Goride Lockbaum, Jim Nairus and Togo Palazzi, along with Louisville head coach Rick Pitino, Quinnipiac head coach Tom Moore and Holy Cross women's head coach Bill Gibbons. Corporate sponsors for the day included Dom Dinardo, Bill Doran and Whitey Moynihan.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Holy Cross basketball program through the Crusader Athletics Fund.
