Worcester, Mass. - The Holy Cross Men's Basketball team will play in the Second Round of the National Invitation Tournament (NIT) at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 21.
The Crusaders (25-7) became the first Patriot League team ever to win a postseason game when they defeated Notre Dame, 78-73, in South Bend, Indiana on Tuesday night.
Holy Cross' opponent in the second round will be determined tonight, as will the location of the game. Holy Cross will play the winner of the Buffalo vs. St. Joseph's game. Buffalo (23-9) lost in overtime to Ohio in the MAC Championship game before defeating Drexel in overtime in the NIT Opening Round game. St. Joseph's (20-11) defeated Hoftra in opening round play, by a score of 53-44.
The two possibilities are as follows:
If Buffalo wins:If the Bulls beat the Hawks, the Crusaders will host the Second Round game on Monday night at 7 p.m. at the Hart Center. Tickets will be on sale on Sunday, as the ticket office will be open from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Fans may order tickets by phone by calling the HC ticket office at (508) 793-2573 to purchase tickets. Aside from reserved chairback seating, all seats will be general admission.

$12 - Adult (General Admission)
$6 - Student (General Admisison) If St. Joseph's wins: If the Hawks win, Holy Cross will travel to St. Joseph's for a game at 7 p.m. at Hawk Hill Gym on Monday night.
