
Mark Daigneault is in his second season as an assistant men's
basketball coach at the College of the Holy Cross in 2008-2009.
Daigneault's primary responsibilities include underclassman and
on-campus recruiting, film exchange, camp coordination and opponent
scouting. He is also involved in academic advising, game
preparation and player development, and supervising the team's
student managers. During his first season at Holy Cross, Daigneault
helped the Crusaders to an overall record of 15-14. Daigneault came
to Holy Cross from the University of Connecticut, where he served
as an undergraduate assistant coach during the 2005-2006 and
2006-2007 seasons. He assisted in all areas of the program at
Connecticut, including individual workouts, film breakdown and
opponent scouting reports. Daigneault was also a co-director of the
Jim Calhoun Basketball Camp from 2005-2007. A 2007 graduate of the
University of Connecticut with a bachelor's degree in education,
Daigneault resides in Leominster, Mass., where he graduated from
Leominster High School in 2003. Daigneault's father, Rick, is a
1980 graduate of Holy Cross, and was a member of the Crusader
baseball team.
