Kevin Driscoll is in his third season as an assistant coach at the College of the Holy Cross in 2015-2016. He is heavily involved in all areas of the Crusader program, including on-court coaching, player development, recruiting, film exchange and scouting.
During the 2013-2014 season, Driscoll helped the Crusaders to an overall record of 20-14, good for their first 20-win season since 2006-2007. Holy Cross also placed third in the Patriot League with a 12-6 mark in conference games, and received an invitation to the CollegeInsider.com Tournament. Holy Cross’ 68-65 victory at Brown in the first round of the 2014 CIT was its first in a national postseason tournament since 2004-2005.
Driscoll came to Holy Cross from the Hoop Group, where he served as the director of the Elite / Eastern Invitational and the Skills / Pocono Invitational for four years. He directed all aspects of the largest basketball camps in the country, which included over 3,500 players in the summer and 1,800 players for the spring and fall showcases.
Prior to his time with the Hoop Group, Driscoll was an assistant coach at Albright College in Reading, Pa., for three seasons from 2006-2009. He helped lead the Lions to an overall mark of 44-32 during his three years on the staff, including records of 17-9 and second place finishes in the Middle Atlantic Conference in both 2007-2008 and 2008-2009. During his time at Albright, Driscoll also served as an admissions counselor. He began his career as the head boys’ basketball coach at Hamburg (Pa.) Area High School from 2004-2006.
Driscoll is a 2004 graduate of Misericordia University in Dallas, Pa., with a bachelor’s degree in sport management. A four-year letterwinner on the Cougars’ basketball team, he helped the squad to two ECAC Tournament appearances, and still ranks third all-time at Misericordia with a career field goal percentage of 55.6 percent.
