AGRIGENTO, Italy - Former Holy Cross forward Dave Dudzinski (Elburn, Ill.) has signed a contract to play professional basketball in Italy. Dudzinski will play for Fortitudo Agrigento, which competes in Serie A2 Gold, and is located in Agrigento on the southern coast of Sicily.
A first team All-Patriot League and first team All-District selection as a senior, Dudzinski played in all 34 of the team's games in2013-2014, averaging 15.1 points, 7.4 rebounds and 0.8 blocks per contest while hitting 46.8 percent of his field goals (184 of 393) and 75.8 percent of his free throws (119 of 157). He led the Patriot League in rebounding, while ranking third in scoring, 10th in blocked shots, 11th in free throw percentage, 15th in field goal percentage. Dudzinski also led the team in scoring 14 times this year, while scoring in double figures 28 times.
Over the course of his collegiate career, Dudzinski totaled 1,366 points, 698 rebounds and 94 blocked shots, while connecting on 48.4 percent (498 of 1,029) of his field goals and 78.3 percent (311 of 397) of his free throws. He finished his career ranked fifth all-time at Holy Cross in career games started (92), ninth in blocked shots, 10th in games played (120), 14th in rebounds and 17th in points scored.
