BOSTON, Mass. – Six of the state's Division I men's NCAA basketball programs will take part in the inaugural Coaches vs. Cancer Tripleheader at TD Garden on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013. The event, with partial proceeds benefitting the American Cancer Society's Coaches vs. Cancer initiative, will feature a triple-header of games:
12:30 p.m. – Boston University vs. Northeastern
3:00 p.m. – Boston College vs. Massachusetts
5:30 p.m. – Harvard vs. Holy Cross
"Collegiate basketball is part of our DNA here at the Garden, we have been hosting exciting match-ups since the 1940s, but this tripleheader of six Massachusetts Division 1 men's teams is unique," said Amy Latimer, president of TD Garden. "We are thrilled to have our local colleges back for some great competition and simultaneously help support the important collaboration of Coaches vs. Cancer."
Tickets for the Coaches vs. Cancer Massachusetts Tripleheader are now available through the Holy Cross Ticket Office. Tickets can be purchased over the phone by calling (508) 793-2573, or in person Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Fans ordering tickets directly from Holy Cross will get seats in the Holy Cross section, as well as avoiding service charges.

Coaches vs. Cancer, is a nation-wide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) that empowers basketball coaches, their teams, and local communities to make a difference in the fight against cancer. The program leverages the personal experiences, community leadership, and professional excellence of basketball coaches nation-wide to increase cancer awareness and promote healthy living through year-round awareness efforts, fundraising activities, and advocacy programs.
