WORCESTER, Mass. - Sophomore forward Dave Dudzinski (Elburn, Ill.) has been named the AT&T Crusader of the Week, for competition from December 19-25. Dudzinski helped lead the Holy Cross men's basketball team to an 88-83 victory over San Francisco in its only game last week.
During Thursday night's victory over the Dons, Dudzinski totaled 20 points and six rebounds, hitting the 20-point mark for the third time this season. He hit 11 of 12 free throw attempts in the game, including five of six in the final minute of play as the Crusaders held on for the victory.
On the season, Dudzinski is now averaging 10.0 points and 6.9 rebounds per game, while hitting 51.3 percent (41of 80) of his shots from the floor. Over the course of his collegiate career, he has totaled 243 points, 158 rebounds and 20 blocked shots, and made 53.2 percent (92 of 173) of his field goal attempts.
Holy Cross returns to action with a 2:00 pm. game at Dartmouth on Saturday, Dec. 31.
