• Played for head coach Kevin Parrish at Gaithersburg High School
• Served as team captain during both his junior and senior seasons
• As a senior, averaged 13.1 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 2.6 blocks and 1.4 steals per game
• Earned first team All-Gazette honors following the 2010-2011 season
• Averaged 9.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.3 blocked shots per game during his junior campaign
• Ranked as one of the top 500 seniors in the nation by Hoop Scoop
• Played AAU ball for Mid-Atlantic Select
• Also lettered in volleyball
