Crusaders Picked Fourth In Patriot League Preseason Poll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Holy Cross men's basketball team has been picked to finish in fourth place in the 2010-2011 Patriot League preseason poll of head coaches and sports information directors. In addition, senior center Andrew Keister (Galloway, N.J.) was selected to the 2010-2011 preseason All-Patriot League team.

The Crusaders received 70 total points in the conference preseason poll, along with two first-place votes. American placed first in the poll, with 79 total points and seven first-place votes, followed by Bucknell in second with 76 points and three first-place votes, and Lafayette in third with 73 points and two first-place votes.

Lehigh finished fifth in the poll with 69 points and two first-place votes. The preseason rankings were rounded out by Navy (sixth, 35 points), Colgate (seventh, 31 points) and Army (eighth, 15 points).

Holy Cross is scheduled to open the 2010-2011 regular season on Saturday, November 13, when it plays host to the College of Charleston in a 7:00 p.m. contest at the Hart Center.
