WORCESTER, Mass. - Three members of the Holy Cross men's basketball team have been selected to the 2008-2009 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league office. Leading the Crusaders was sophomore forward Andrew Keister (Galloway, N.J.), who was selected to the team for the third straight season. Joining Keister on the Academic Honor Roll were senior forward Colin Cunningham (Memphis, Tenn.) and freshman guard Charlie Mills (Tampa, Fla.).
A total of 23 student-athletes from men's basketball teams around the league earned spots on this year's Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a grade point average of 3.20 or better during the spring semester, and be a varsity letterwinner on his team.
Holy Cross finished the 2008-2009 campaign with an overall record of 18-14, and placed second in the Patriot League with an 11-3 mark in conference games.
