Holy Cross Baseball Announces Incoming Freshman Class

WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross head baseball coach Craig Najarian announced the incoming class for the 2007 Crusader squad this week. Eight student-athletes will join the Holy Cross program for the 2006-2007 academic year.

Holy Cross is returning 27 letterwinners and seven starters from a year ago, including the 2006 Patriot League Rookie of the Year, Tyler Stampone (Meadowbrook, Pa.). The Crusaders, who are also returning their entire pitching staff, with the exception of one reliever, finished the 2006 season with a 16-26-1 overall record and a 5-15 mark in Patriot League play.
