Tuesday's Baseball Game Cancelled

May 2, 2006

WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross versus Assumption baseball game, originally scheduled for Tuesday, May 2, has been cancelled due to inclement weather and unplayable field conditions. The game will not be made up.

With today's cancellation, the Crusaders' 2006 season has officially ended. The team finished with an overall record of 16-26-1 and a 5-15 mark in the Patriot League.

Senior second baseman Tucker Frawley (New Haven, Conn./Hopkins School) concluded his illustrious career as the program's all-time hits leader (190 career hits), and all-time career at-bats leader (171 at-bats). In addition, Frawley ended his career just one hit short of tying and two hits short of breaking the school record for hits in a single season. He will also go into the record books ranked third all-time for RBI in a single season with 37.
