Worcester, Mass. - Holy Cross sophomore pitcher Mike Miller (Wayzata, Minn.) has been named the Patriot League Pitcher of the Week following his performance in the Crusader's 2-1 win over Northeastern in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Huskies. This is Miller's first career conference award.

The Minnesota native only allowed one earned run in five and 2/3 innings on Saturday, fanning seven NU batters on his way to his second win of the season. Miller faced 22 batters and only gave up three hits, while walking two.

Miller leads the pitching staff with a 4.12 ERA and a 2-1 record. He has made four appearances this season, and has pitched one complete game. The 6-foot-2 right-hander is also holding opponents to a .287 average at the plate.

Holy Cross' home game against Siena, scheduled for tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. has been postponed. No make-up date has been set.

The Crusaders (4-9) will travel to Chestnut Hill on Wednesday for an afternoon match-up with Boston College. First pitch is slated for 3:00 p.m.
