  • The Holy Cross baseball team returns to action on Saturday, March 14 when it travels to Towson for a doubleheader starting at 12:00 p.m.
  • The 2009 season marks the first time Holy Cross has played a ranked team in the last five seasons. This year, the Crusaders played a three-game series against No. 5 Arizona State.
  • On March 3 against Arizona, senior Tim Hughes (Andover, Mass.) went 2-for-3 at the plate with a double, triple, one run scored and one RBI.
  • Sophomore Eric Oxford (Danvers, Mass.) hit his first home run of the season, a two-run home run against Arizona State on March 7.
  • Junior Bobby Holmes (Dedham, Mass.) pitched five and 1/3 inning and gave up eight hits, eight runs, one walk while striking out a season-high six batters at Arizona State on March 6.
