AS A JUNIOR IN 2005: Started five games and made seven total appearances before missing the rest of the season with an injury...pitched 28.1 innings...allowed 19 earned runs on 29 hits while striking our 11 and walking eight...had a 1-3 record, picking up a win at Central Connecticut after working 6.0 innings and allowing two runs on three hits. AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2004: Played in 29 games...made 25 starts as a first baseman...had 18 hits, 10 RBI, eight runs scored and three doubles...went 2-for-3 with an RBI vs Duquesne on 3/8...went 1-for-5 with a double and two runs scored in a 10-7 win over Harvard on 4/7...went 2-for-2 with two doubles, two RBI, and a run scored in a 9-8 win over Bucknell in the second game of a doubleheader on 4/25...Made eight appearances and five starts as a pitcher...earned Patriot League Pitcher of the Week accolades after picking up a save in a weekend sweep at Bucknell on 4/24 and 4/25...pitched 30 and 2/3 innings...won one game...one complete game...had two saves...struck out 15 batters...pitched seven innings and struck out four on 3/12 vs. IPFW...pitched seven innings, struck out five, allowed only four hits, with no runs, no earned runs, and no walks in a complete game 2-0 shutout win over Bucknell on 4/24. AS A FRESHMAN IN 2003: Appeared in nine games making five starts...pitched 37.2 innings with a 4.30 ERA...struck out 23 batters...gave up only four walks...also batted .368 with 14 hits and five RBIs...went 4-for-4 with one RBI and one run scored vs. St. Bonaventure (3/6)...had a 2-for-3 with two runs scored and one RBI performance vs. BC on 3/25...pitched a complete-game victory over Bucknell on 3/31 scattering six hits and striking out a career-high six batters without issuing a walk...pitched six strong innings giving up just seven hits and two runs vs. Army (4/28). HIGH SCHOOL: Three-sport standout at Medfield High...captained baseball, golf and hockey teams his senior year...four-time Tri-Valley League All-Star for baseball and two-time MetroWest All-Star.
