Bruce Elliott is in his first year as an assistant baseball coach and the recruiting coordinator at Holy Cross. Elliott joins the Holy Cross baseball program after three seasons as an assistant coach at the University of Connecticut. In two of his three seasons with the Huskies (2006, 2007) set a school record for wins (39) in 2006 and was selected as the "New England Team of the Year". In addition to his on-field duties while at Connecticut, Elliott also served as camp director for the Connecticut Baseball School and managed construction of a new baseball locker room and new stadium renovations. Prior to his coaching at Connecticut, Elliott was an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for Palomar College (San Diego, Calif.) From 2002 to 2005, Palomar made three regional playoff appearances during his tenure and was runner-up to the California State Title in 2005. Palomar won two Pacific Coast Conference Championships and posted an overall team record of 82 wins and 39 losses during Elliott's years on the staff. Elliott began his career in coaching at the high school level, serving as the head baseball coach at San Dieguito Academy High School from 1998-2002. He is a 1992 graduate of California State Polytechnic University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. Elliott holds a Master's Degree in physical education from Azusa Pacific University is a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association.
