11 Members Of Baseball Team Named To Patriot League Academic Honor Roll
WORCESTER, Mass. – Eleven members of the Holy Cross baseball team have been selected to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll as announced today by the league, including seniors Jordan Enos (Stockton, Calif.) and Josh Olson (Woodbury, Minn.) who each earned their fourth selection to the Honor Roll. Enos, who was the 2013 Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year, and sophomore Jack St. Clair (Newton, Mass.) were two of three baseball players from around the league to post a 4.00 GPA in the spring semester. The Crusaders' 11 selections were the third most in the league.
The other members of the team to be named to the honor roll were seniors Andrew Boyce (Avon, Conn.), John Colella (Herndon, Va.) and George Perrotta (East Chester, N.Y.); juniors Ted Cullinane (East Greenwich, R.I.) and Nate Walker (San Diego, Calif.); sophomore Ryan Filipowicz (Yardley, Pa.); and freshmen Sean Gustin (Stoneham, Mass.) and Shane Sandoval (Westerly, R.I.).
A total of 60 student-athletes from baseball teams around the league were named to the honor roll. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll a winter or spring sport student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester.
