WORCESTER, Mass. - Senior first baseman Jordan Enos (Stockton, Calif.) has been named the AT&T Crusader of the Week, for competition from March 18-24. Enos went nine-for-13 with three runs scored, three runs batted in and two doubles last week, as the Holy Cross baseball team posted a 4-0 record in a weekend series at Yale.
Enos opened the weekend by going three-for-three in the 5-4 victory over the Bulldogs, while driving in the winning run with an RBI single in the fifth inning. He was then three-for-four with an RBI double in Saturday's night cap, a 7-6 Crusader victory. During Sunday's doubleheader, which Holy Cross swept by scores of 7-4 and 2-0, Enos went a combined three-for-six, in addition to drawing two walks.
Enos, who is currently riding a five-game hitting streak, is now batting .339 on the season with five doubles, nine runs scored and 13 runs batted in. Over the course of his collegiate career, he it hitting .319 with 19 doubles, three home runs, 38 runs scored and 40 runs batted in.
Holy Cross (6-13 overall) returns to action on Wednesday, March 27, when it travels to Harvard for a 3:30 p.m. game.
