Jordan Enos Receives Ray Dobens Award

WORCESTER, Mass. – Junior infielder Jordan Enos (Stockton, Calif.), a member of the Holy Cross baseball team, has received the 2012 Ray Dobens Award. The Dobens Award is presented to the most improved player on the Crusader baseball team. The honor was given to Enos by the Holy Cross Varsity Club.

After appearing in just 18 contests as a sophomore, Enos has become the team's defensive rock at first base this season. He has started in 35 contests and leads all infielders with a .983 fielding percentage and 285 put outs. Offensively, Enos ranks third on the team with a .313 batting average in 128 at-bats.

Enos also leads the team with 11 doubles, ranking sixth in the Patriot League. His 20 RBI this season more than double his career total and rank third on the team. Enos is also a leader in the classroom for the team, boasting the highest GPA amongst starters. He has been named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll twice.
