WORCESTER, Mass.- Holy Cross junior first baseman Jordan Enos (Stockton, Calif.) has been named the Patriot League Player of the Week, announced by the conference. He earns the honor after batting .500 in three games last week against regional foes Albany and St. John's. The award is his first career Patriot League nod.
Enos went 5-for-10 in last week's action, tallying a RBI in every one of the three games. He also had two multi-hit contests, including two hits against Albany on March 17 and then two more hits against the Great Danes on March 18. He finished the week with a team-high four RBI, two runs scored and did not strike out once. Enos was also perfect defensively, making no errors and picking up 23 put outs.
On the season, Enos bats .296 and has collected a team-best 24 total bases. He has 16 hits, including six extra base knocks and eight RBI. He is currently on a five-game hit streak.
The Crusaders, who are now 7-7 on the season, return to action against in-state rival Boston College on Tuesday, March 20. First pitch is set for 3:00 p.m. at Shea Field in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
