WORCESTER, Mass. – Ten members of the Holy Cross baseball team have been selected to the 2010 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league office, including senior Matt Perry (Sudbury, Mass.) who made the Academic Honor Roll for the fourth time and senior Tommy Arrigg (Andover, Mass.) who earned his third honor.
Juniors Jack Laurendeau (Sudbury, Mass.) and Nick Ciardiello (Edison, N.J.), and sophomore Nate Koneski (North Dighton, Mass.) were named to the honor roll for the second time. Seniors Ryan George (Seekonk, Mass.) and Bobby Holmes (Dedham, Mass.) earned Academic Honor Roll honors for the first time in their careers, along with freshmen Jordan Enos (Stockton, Calif.), Josh Olson (Woodbury, Minn.) and Patrick Puentes (East Greenbush, N.Y.).
Bucknell and Lafayette led Patriot League with 17 student-athletes from each school making the Academic Honor Roll. Lehigh added 13 student-athletes to the list and Holy Cross followed with 10. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
