Ryan Colton is in his third year at the College of the Holy Cross in 2015-2016, and his first year as the assistant director of athletics for compliance. He is responsible for the continued development and enhancement of a culture of compliance through a strong monitoring program that ensures our compliance with NCAA and Patriot League rules.
Prior to his time with the Crusaders, Colton served as a special assistant to the athletic director at Providence College for two years. He has also managed a law firm out of Taunton, Mass., since 2008, and served as a City Councilor in Taunton for four years. Colton previously worked in the Massachusetts state senate from 2006-2008.
A 2004 graduate of Bucknell University with a bachelor’s degree in political science, Colton was a four-year member of the Bison football team as a quarterback. He went on to earn his law degree from the New England School of Law in 2007, and was sworn into the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Bar upon his graduation.
