Ryan Colton is in his second year as a compliance assistant at the College of the Holy Cross in 2014-2015. He assists in monitoring compliance with NCAA rules and regulations, including overseeing team practice schedules and recruiting activities. Colton also prepares numerous NCAA reports, and researches rules and regulations to ensure Holy Cross’ compliance.
Prior to his time with the Crusaders, Colton served as a special assistant to the athletic director at Providence College for two years. He has also managed a law firm out of Taunton, Mass., since 2008, and served as a City Councilor in Taunton for four years. Colton previously spent time as the director of district affairs for Massachusetts state senator Marc R. Pacheco from 2006-2008.
A 2004 graduate of Bucknell University with a bachelor’s degree in political science, Colton was a four-year member of the Bison football team as a quarterback. He went on to earn his law degree from the New England School of Law in 2007, and was sworn into the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Bar upon his graduation.
