Ray Bolger is in his first year as the head equipment manager at the College of the Holy Cross in 2012-2013. He handles the equipment needs for all 27 of the Crusaders' varsity athletic teams.
Prior to his time with the Crusaders, Bolger served as the assistant director of athletic facilities and equipment at John Carroll University for nine years. He was responsible for catering to the needs of the school's 21 varsity athletic teams, while overseeing the maintenance and operation of the Tony DeCarlo Varsity Sports Center. Bolger's duties included home game administration, oversight of more than 50 student workers, inventory control, equipment procurement, outside group facilitation and budgeting assistance.
Bolger received his bachelor's degree in economics and sociology from John Carroll in 2003. He went on to receive a master's degree in non-profit administration from John Carroll in 2008. Bolger has also been certified as an equipment manager by the Athletic Equipment Managers Association.
