WORCESTER, Mass. – The College of the Holy Cross athletic department has promoted Nic Ryan to director of athletic facilities and event management, and Jessica Liebner to assistant director of athletic facilities and marketing, it was announced by athletic director Richard M. Regan, Jr.
Ryan is now in his third year at Holy Cross, serving as the assistant director of athletic facilities since 2011. Prior to his time with the Crusaders, Ryan was as the assistant director of athletic facilities at the University of Detroit during the 2010-2011 school year. He was the event manager for all home athletic events, oversaw the setup and tear down for all athletic events and was responsible for the scheduling of all athletic facilities. Ryan was previously an event management intern at Michigan State University in the 2009-2010 school year. He earned his bachelor’s degree in crop and soil science from Michigan State in 2008, and his master’s degree in kinesiology from Michigan State in 2010.
Liebner is in her second season with the Crusaders, spending the last year as the manager of events and promotions. She previously spent the 2011-2012 school year as the assistant director of athletic facilities at the University of Detroit. Liebner managed all non-revenue sporting events during her time with the Titans, while scheduling all aspects of several athletic venues. During the 2010-2011 academic year, she served as a graduate assistant at Detroit in both compliance and concessions. Liebner earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Detroit in 2010, and her master’s degree in business administration from Detroit in 2012.
