Holy Cross Athletes Volunteer With Catholic Charities
WORCESTER, Mass. - Members of the Holy Cross baseball, women's soccer and men's ice hockey teams donated their time several afternoons throughout the Spring semester to help Catholic Charities stock their shelves full of food. Catholic Charities is the largest food pantry in the Worcester area, helping the less fortunate keep their families fed. The student-athletes met at the Worcester County Food Bank in Shrewsbury, went shopping in the warehouse, loaded the truck full of food and then unloaded it back at the pantry.
