Men's Basketball & Men's Hockey To Host Conference Tournament Games

WORCESTER, Mass.­ – The Holy Cross men’s basketball and men’s ice hockey teams are hosting conference tournament games at the Hart Center this week. The men’s basketball team is playing against Lehigh on Wednesday, March 5, at 7:00 p.m., while the men’s hockey team is playing a best two-out-of-three series with RIT on March 7-9 (games at 7:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 5:00 p.m. if necessary on Sunday). Tickets are on sale now and may be purchased by calling (508) 793-2573 or visiting the Holy Cross Ticket Office located in the Holy Cross Field House during business hours (9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.).

The No. 3 seeded men’s basketball team (18-12 overall, 12-6 Patriot League) will play host to the No. 6 seed Lehigh Mountain Hawks (14-17 overall, 7-11 Patriot League) in a Patriot League quarterfinal match up. The Crusaders come in having won 11 of their last 14 games, as they take aim at an NCAA Tournament berth. Tickets are $14.00 for adults and $7.00 for students/seniors.

The No. 8 seeded men’s ice hockey team (12-19-3 overall, 11-13-3 Atlantic Hockey) will square off against the No. 9 seed RIT (11-18-5 overall, 10-14-3 Atlantic Hockey) in a best two-out-of-three Atlantic Hockey Tournament first round series. With a series win, the Crusaders will qualify for the quarterfinals as they are their looking to earn their third NCAA Tournament appearance in program history. Tickets are $12.00 for adults and $6.00 for students/seniors.
