One of the most decorated of Crusader hockey stars, Lunny was a star forward for Coach Pete Van Buskirk during the mid 1980’s. Lunney graduated with his name throughout the HC record book, placing in the top six in seven separate categories. He earned first team All American honors as a result of his senior season accomplishments, capping his career by scoring six points in his final game, so as to graduate as the highest scorer in HC history. He signed a professional contract with the New York Rangers and played three years of minor league hockey in the International Hockey League and the East Coast Hockey League.
