Biography

Addesa was a valuable contributor to the women's swimming program for four years, earning All-Patriot League honors in 1991 and 1992 while also capturing the 200 meter freesyle event at the National Catholic Championship those two years.  She was the Patriot League record holder in three events at the time of her graduation and was chosen as the Co-Swimmer of the Meet at the 1992 Patriot League Championships. 

A two-time Patriot League Scholar Athlete of the Year, Addesa graduated with nine individual school records and was a member of five relay teams that posted school marks.  She was named as the Patriot League Scholar of the Year in women’s swimming as a senior, and she received the Cooney Award from the Holy Cross Varsity Club.  Addesa was also named to the Patriot League All-Decade Team for the 1990s.
