Biography
Lemire was a two-time First Team All-America honoree at end as a Crusader (1953 and 1954) despite not even being listed on the Holy Cross roster as a freshman. Three times he earned All-New England honors, and his Dr. Eddie Anderson-coached teams were 21-9 in his time at HC. He served as captain his senior year, and went on to play 50 minutes in the East-West Shrine Game at the end of the season.
