Biography
Lynch won 22 dual meet races as a
freshman, earning two second place finishes in the Patriot
League Championships and finishing fifth at the National Catholic
College Championships in the 200 free style event. She also
set a school record in the 800 Free Relay at Army alongside
teammate Jill Adessa '92. As a sophomore, she won the 100
free style race at the Patriot League Championships, placed second
in two other events and had two second place finishes at the
National Catholic College Championships. Lynch was the
winner of 31 races in dual meets that season.
In her junior year, she won two events at the Patriot League
Championships and was the winner of the 200 free style event at the
National Catholic Championships, setting a school record of
1:53.02. Qualifying for the ECAC Championships, Lynch
won the 100 free style and placed second in the 200. Lynch's senior
year found her winning all three of her events at the Patriot
League Championships when she was named Co-Swimmer of the
Meet. She also won the 200 free style event at the Catholic
Championships, placed second in her three events at the ECAC
Championships and set the school record of 51.53 in the 100 free
style event on her final swim as a Crusader.
She was named a Patriot League Scholar of the Year in 1995
and was honored by the Varsity Club that year with the
Intercollegiate Athletic Achievement Award.
