WORCESTER, Mass.- Crusader field hockey and men’s soccer open up this week’s action on Tuesday, with field hockey traveling to Brown for an afternoon contest while men’s soccer hosts Brown under the lights at Linda Johnson Smith Soccer Stadium in its final non-conference game of the regular season. Field hockey plays in two more contests, wrapping up their regular season at home against Lehigh on Saturday, Oct. 29 and then playing at Yale on Sunday, Oct. 30. The team’s four seniors will be honored on Saturday. Both soccer teams are in action on Saturday, as the men travel to play at Navy starting at 7:00 p.m. while the women play in their final home game versus Lehigh at 2:00 p.m. Women’s soccer will be holding senior day festivities prior to their game against the Mountain Hawks. Volleyball returns to the Holy Cross Field House for a non-conference match against New Hampshire on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. and then plays at Army on Sunday. Both men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams are set to host Springfield this upcoming Saturday, while the women also host Siena on Wednesday. Cross country aims for top finishes at the 2011 Patriot League Championship, held on Lehigh’s home course. The rowing teams wrap up the week’s action as the women will compete at the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta in Philadelphia, Pa. on Saturday while the men compete at the Princeton Chase Regatta on Saturday as well. Golf and women’s tennis have now completed their fall schedules.
