Men's Basketball & Men's Hockey To Host Conference Tournament Games

WORCESTER, Mass.­ – The Holy Cross men’s basketball and men’s hockey teams are hosting conference tournament games at the Hart Center this week. The men’s basketball team is playing against Lafayette on Feb. 29 at 7:00 p.m., while the men’s hockey team is playing a best two-out-of-three series versus Army on March 2-4 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are on sale now and may be purchased by calling (508) 793-2573 or visiting the Holy Cross Ticket Office located in the Holy Cross Field House during business hours (9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.).

The No. 4 seeded men’s basketball team (15-13, 9-5 Patriot League) will host the No. 5 seed Lafayette Leopards (12-17, 7-7 Patriot League) in a Patriot League Quarterfinal match up on Wednesday. The Crusaders come in having won six games in a row, and are seeking to continue that streak as they aim for an NCAA Tournament berth. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for students/seniors.

The No. 5 seeded men’s hockey team (17-13-4, 15-8-4 Atlantic Hockey) will square off against the No. 12 seed Army (4-21-7, 3-19-5 Atlantic Hockey) in a best two-out-of-three Atlantic Hockey Tournament first round series at the Hart Center on March 2-4. The Crusaders are 7-0-1 in their last eight games as they have outscored their opponents by a 37-13 margin. With a series win, the Crusaders will qualify for the quarterfinals as they are their looking to earn their third NCAA Tournament appearance in program history. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students/seniors.
