SAAC Members Talk About Equipment Drive

WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will be holding a sporting equipment and clothing drive to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Worcester, Mass. after the school's Thanksgiving break.

The drive, which will begin on Monday, Nov. 30, will run until Friday, December 4. SAAC members will be collecting the items in the Hogan Center from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. every day. Examples of equipment and clothing needed are; baseballs, bats, cleats, field hockey sticks, footballs, gloves, goggles, golf balls, golf clubs, football helmets, lacrosse sticks, safety padding, shorts, skates, sneakers, soccer balls, softballs, tennis balls, tennis racquets, t-shirts and volleyballs.

Items can also be donated at the Nov. 30 men's basketball game against Marist, the Dec. 4 men's ice hockey game against RIT and the Dec. 5 women's basketball game against Northeastern. All items will be donated to Boys and Girls Club of Worcester.
