WORCESTER, Mass. - The College of the Holy Cross has named Peter Tryon an intern athletic trainer, it was announced by head athletic trainer Anthony Cerundolo and athletic director Richard M. Regan, Jr. He will work with the Holy Cross women's soccer, women's lacrosse and men's and women's swimming and diving teams, while assisting with a number of other sports.
Tryon is a 2008 graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology. He was a student athletic trainer for the Wildcats, assisting with the football, women's lacrosse and men's and women's track and field squads. Tryon was also a student athletic trainer at Portsmouth High School, in addition to gaining clinical experience at the Rehab 3 center for athletes.
Tryon is certified by the National Athletic Trainers' Association, and is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist.
