WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross men's and women's track and field teams will travel to West Point, N.Y. for the 2009 Patriot League Outdoor Championship on May 1-2. Last year at the Championship, the Holy Cross women finished fourth, while the men finished eight.

The baseball team will play its last two games of the regular season this week. The Crusaders will host Rhode Island in its final home game on Tuesday, April 28, at 3:00 p.m. and travel to Maine for its final away game on Wednesday, April 29 at 4:00 p.m. The softball team will close out the 2009 season on Tuesday, April 28 when it hosts Central Connecticut in a double header starting at 3:00 p.m.

The men's lacrosse team concluded the season with a 13-3 loss at Bryant on April 22 and ended with a 3-12 overall record. The women's tennis team concluded the season when they fell to Colgate, 4-0, at the Patriot League Tournament on April 24. The men's golf team wrapped up the 2008-2009 season by placing seventh at the Patriot League Championship, held at the West Point Golf Course in West Point, N.Y. The women's golf team wrapped up the 2008-2009 season by placing ninth out of 11 schools at the Jack Leaman Invitational, held at the Hickory Ridge Country Club in Amherst, Mass., and the Orchards Golf Club in South Hadley, Mass.

The men's rowing team will have a week off and return to action on Sunday, May 10, hosting the Eastern Spirits at Lake Quinnsigamond, while the women's team returns to action, hosting the New England Championships on May 2-3 starting at 8:00 a.m.
